Business Women, You Better Bring It!!

I mean I can only give it to you all like God gave it to me!! He uses whatever he can to speak to his children. When God gave me this concept to share with CWBN I almost could not believe it. He would use one of me and my girls favorite show to share the concept of providing the best quality services.

My girls and I watch the show "Bring It" all the time. One thing for sure, Mrs. Diana is not a half stepper when it comes to her girls!!

I work hard everyday to make myself better than the day before. I always think about what I can do differently. I believe that successful people think out of the box. They usually provide a service that makes people want more. I believe that they are a step ahead of everyone's thinking. I also believe that they know their competition. I don't live my life trying to outdo people but I carefully study what others are doing. I don't believe in copying someones work but the best way to learn is to watch. I think its great to know which businesses people are supporting. With tons of new businesses thriving each day, women no longer lack the confidence of feeling like they can't. We are more self confident and we know that if we work hard that success will come.

Work very hard to be the best you! Support other business owners because you know the challenges of being one. Spend your time building something that will bring VALUE to yourself and to others. I try to use my businesses as a ministry. I feel that when I bless others God will bless me. Remember the Lord in everything you do because it is he that brings success! Deuteronomy 8:18

What do you have to bring to the table with your business? You should bring good service. You should bring wisdom! You bring everything you have to make that business a success. What can you do today to make your business a rare jewel that stands out in the crowd? We will all have similar talents because when God gave out one, he gave the same gifts to others. At the end of the day we are here to provide a living for our families and ourselves but we can't do it alone.

I can't do every hair client. I can't sell all of the Avon. What I can do is provide something that will make people happy. So I say to the women of CWBN, "You Better Bring It"!!

Pray for me ladies! I am working on my very own dance team for girls! This will be my mentoring program!

Please if you haven't join us on facebook Where we are working together to build businesses one woman at a time!!@

Week Three of Organizing My Business - Email List 101

But remember the LORD your God, for it is he who gives you the ability to produce wealth, and so confirms his covenant, which he swore to your ancestors, as it is today.
Deuteronomy 8:18

Hello CWBN,

I hope you ladies are doing fine. Some of you may know that a few weeks ago I felt so overwhelmed with all of this business stuff. I realized that because I wear so many hats that I needed to organize my life a bit better. My businesses stand at the top of this list. There are a lot of things that I have done including hiring my daughter to help me. I feel a lot better. Today I am working on my email list. I am not like some business owners that have one or two businesses. I have at least five things that I do. So today I have to pull out more folders, create an email list form, and use these forms for each of my businesses. In other words, I will have an email list for each business. I need the list because once a month I send out emails. Some people prefer to send them out more often, I don't like to feel like I am bothering my contacts too much.

Some of my businesses I do not have to do this because I can compile list from the websites. In my mind, doing this by hand is gonna take a while. Why don't I use a service like mail chimp? I tried using this service and just really did not care much for it. I wont say why but I just don't. For me the old way is not a bad way. Besides I can slowly compile the list from my emails. For the past few weeks I have made some really good use of folders. I have each business and all paperwork associated with these businesses in a folder of its own. Before my life was a total mess. I was basically trying to do it all by myself. I write this today just in case there is someone like me totally unorganized. I hope no one else feels overwhelmed like I did. If so, what can you do today to make your life feel a little bit better?

You all have a wonderful day! Make your day count and don't forget to remember the Lord in everything you do.

Look Whose In The Local News Paper!!! Me!

A couple of weeks ago, I submitted a question that so many are asking me in my local newspaper. We has a column in one of our papers called Ask Adrian. People that have business related questions can ask Adrian a question and if he chooses your question, he will air the question with answers. I knew I had a shot because my question was pretty was pretty cool - not boasting!! Little that I knew that my question would be the question of choice. If you live in metro Atlanta and even if you don't there may be information that will be helpful to you or someone you know. You may need to zoom in on the article. I told my children that I was famous. :) I almost forgot, I won a $10 gift certificate. How cool is that. Gas money!  !

Deuteronomy 8:18 - But thou shalt remember the LORD thy God: for [it is] he that giveth thee power to get wealth, that he may establish his covenant which he sware unto thy fathers, as [it is] this day.

You all have a wonderful day! Thanks for reading! If you haven't, join us on facebook here:

A Prayer for Women in Business

Father in the name of Jesus I ask you to order my footsteps in you. Lord let every business decision that I make come from you. Let every decision I make to be of wisdom. Lord open up doors that no man can close. Put the right people in my life that will help your vision come to pass. Keep negative people that don't believe away from me and send people that will patronize my business. Allow me to see that my business should not only be for financial support but a ministry that should be done in excellence. Help me to be able to fund every project that I a working on. Allow me to see that giving back and paying tithes is part of the process. When I am tired, allow me to find rest for my soul and body. Allow me to take the time to exercise and take care of my health, appearance, and hygiene. Let stress not a once reign in me. Allow me to not my put work before you and never allow procrastination to be of me. Help me to provide products and services that are of excellent standards. Allow me to continue to believe no matter how hard it gets. In Jesus name I pray! Amen!

Are You Feeling Stuck Within Your Vision

Today I write this blog post because I notice that business owners or those that want to start a new business are simply getting frustrated. People have a vision but are just making ends meet. It seems as though people work from paycheck to paycheck and would love the stability of owning their own business so that they can become self sufficient. Many find themselves feeling stuck within a vision.

Many have great ideas but lack the funds they feel are neccessary to bring their vision to past. Some do not have a great line of credit to get a business loan. In all honesty some are just waddling in a vision that they do not own. Is your vision yours or someone else's? Did you pray about this? Did God specifically speak to you about this? All of the answers to these answers are vital to why you are feeling the way you do.

Now if you are struggling, this does not mean that you should not pursue the dreams that are ahead of you. I have often said that anything worth having in life, is hard work. For the person that is tired, I want to share with you today some things that you can do to help get the ball rolling. The things that I will list won't cost you a penny. Where you are, I have been. I did not allow this distraction to deter me and you should not either!

Youtube Free Tutorials

I truly believe that if there is something that you need to know, that youtube is the place for free information. Type any subject down that you may want to learn about and see what happens.

Lastly, Ehow.

I love to search things that I want to learn about on Ehow. I get a lot of answers that way. You search may look like this. I want to learn how to become a fashion designer Ehow.

Tips

*Strapped for cash - make one sheet of business cards on microsoft publisher. Use zerox paper and have that sheet laminated for a little over a buck just until you get your cards made.

Do you have an outline for your business. Write down your vision. This does not have to be anything fancy. Write down an outline, what you wish to accomplish over the next five years. What it will take, and what you can do now to help you move closer to your goals. Try not to feel overwhelmed. We must learn to crawl before we walk and to be patient. Maybe there are people in your family or friends that can help you achieve your goals. Interns can help also. Call colleges in your area to see if they will allow small business owners to use interns to do work for free.

I wrote this today today because people need hope. I've been there!!! God is a supplier! Do you have anything you can sacrifice? Do you have anything you can sell? How are your spending habits? Also I want to share with you just a few ways to earn a little extra cash online. They are not jobs. In fact there is not much money involved but maybe you can earn a little extra just to help make ends meet.

Survey Savvy - take short surveys here and receive checks in the mail.

Isay Survey Companu unlike some that will not reward users if they do not have surveys available will give some credit just for visiting their site here. They will pay users through their paypal account.

Now this is a company that will pay people to do mystery shopping from home. Get started here.

Thank you so much for visiting! Now these are just a few tips! You can do searches to get information just like I did today. May of the resources I mentioned, I use myself.
